Upcoming EventsBarnabas Partners Needed Encourage a College Student by agreeing to be a secret Barnabas. Send notes of encouragement throughtout the school year plus an occasional care package. See Pastor Mitch for more details. ------------------------------------------------------ No Salad Salad Luncheon The UMW of Asbury are having a "No Salad Salad Luncheon" this year. We ask that you calculate what you would have spent in donations to the luncheon and make that monetary donation instead. Representatives will be in Fellowship Circle on Sunday. Please make your check to Asbury UMW. These donations will allow us to meet the pledges we have made to Worldwide Methodist Missions. ---------------------------------------- Small Group Mtg. for 20-40 Somethings The first meeting will be Oct. 15 from 6:30-8 p.m. in the Film Room at Asbury. The popular Nooma video series will be viewed and discussed. Childcare will be provided. ------------------------------------------------------------- Operation Christmas Child Asbury will be participating again in this mission to provide gift boxes for children around the world. Instructions are available in Fellowship Circle. Boxes need to be brought to church by early November. ------------------------------------------------ Pit Stop Retuns The Pit Stop is open again on Thursdays from 11:00-12:30. Lunch is available for $3.00 for high school sophomores through seniors. After a high of 84 last year, we have served as high as 125 meals so far this school year. |
